Worsley, Greater Manchester
Another front garden design in Worsley in Salford, Greater Manchester, that required a careful touch. The brief, to create a double off road parking space whilst complimenting and enhancing the period style of the house and garden. This was achieved by mixing reclaimed cobble with a black basalt chipping infill. New perimeter paths were designed in using new granite cubed cobbles. A side planted cobble garden and central island bed, planted with mixed herbs compliments adding warmth, colour and structure. A polished slab of black granite was sourced to create a new single slap porch step. Working with my favourite sculpture we created a unique railing to the front wall, lending character and individuality to the garden.
